Eat Your Veggies

It’s interesting to learn about the foods we eat, and how much we eat compared to how much we “should” eat. I’m not one for counting calories but it’s good to know how many calories are in the fruits and vegetables we consume daily so we don’t over do it. 

Fruits tend to be higher in sugar, which does not mean we can’t enjoy them, but being aware is helpful when planning our daily meals. 

I’ve attched a calorie chart for both fruit and vegetables for you to frequent when unsure.

A fun way I add alittle fruit in my veggie loaded diet is to add a little fruit like sliced pear or apple or grapes to a veggie loaded salad. The mix of earthy flavors with a hint of succulent sweet completes the palette, leaving your tatse buds fully stimulated and helps to curve cravings.
